A woman who knows what she is and shows who she is
Even as she presents her first drawings, which she fixes on her iPad, it's clear to everyone: this young woman has talent! Our new intern is a true drawing ace! Once again it becomes clear: True ability does not need certificates or over-interpreted degrees! Long live autodidactics.
Of course, the new colleague also has a name: Joy, Joy Schwarz, to be exact. The 22-year-old is spending her year-long internship, which she has to complete as part of her computer science technical college, at Blackbit. But even before she decided to go back to school, she had already done quite a bit of work and gained a wide variety of experience: Whether as a tattoo artist in multicultural Berlin or as a freelance comic artist - her creative streak is always at the center of her work. By the way, she also exhibits her comics at conventions.
Her school subject area already suggests it: Joy not only likes to draw, but she's also interested in programming - a truly explosive mix!
In any case, we are sure that she will use her time with us to look over the shoulders of one or the other developer. In general, we want our annual interns to get a taste of every department so that they can take away as much as possible.
However, Joy is not a couch potato even after work is done: She also draws in her free time or plays games on the PC, but she simply can't say no to an intensive HIIT workout or a round of iron lifting - with the right beat always in her ear. And because creativity also thrives on new impressions, she is always on the lookout for new input. Where doesn't really matter - the main thing is to go beyond her own horizons.
Joy, we think this year will go by faster than we all would like. But for now you are here - and that's a good thing.
