A ray of light, a person, a moment - and suddenly diversity becomes visible.
With an interactive work of art, we set an example at the Graffiti Walk Göttingen: for creative energy, social change and a working world that puts people at the center.
Blackbit at the Graffiti Walk 2025 - Why We’re Taking Part
As a digital commerce agency based in Göttingen, we not only design platforms for digital change - we also want to play an active role in shaping the culture of our city. That's why we support the Graffiti Walk as a sponsor and creative partner.
Nine overseas containers were designed live by street artists and then distributed throughout the city as urban landmarks - right in the middle: our contribution to the theme "People at the Center".
Our Motif: People at the Center
Together with an artist, we developed a motif that puts people at the center. Rays, colors and abstract symbols stand for creativity, digital transformation and what drives us: creating new perspectives and leaving room for diversity.
Every viewer is invited to interpret the image in their own way. For us, it shows: Ideas are born where openness is practiced - and diversity is not only accepted, but valued.
What’s Behind It
We want to show with our container: Diversity is not a buzzword, but a practiced attitude. In our daily work, in our teams and in the way we understand business. We believe in working together as equals, in creative development and in responsibility towards society and the environment.
That is why we are actively committed to fair working conditions, sustainability and the promotion of the common good - not just internally, but visibly and tangibly in the heart of the city.
What We Want to Say With This
At Blackbit, we believe in a working world based on trust, self-organization and purpose. Our design makes visible what we live as a company: Openness, responsibility, creative energy.
Diversity is not a target for us - it is the prerequisite for progress.
Why Street Art? Because.
Art in public spaces speaks where others remain silent. It inspires, surprises and gets people talking. As an agency for digital commerce and brand communication, we see urban art as a strong medium to make our attitude visible - beyond career portals or image campaigns.
Our Roots Are in Göttingen, Our Impact Is Everywhere
Blackbit has been at home in Göttingen for over 30 years. As a digital agency and employer, we are rooted in the region - and now operate internationally with offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Kyiv. Sustainability, transparency and fairness characterize our actions. As a company that is committed to and certified for the Economy for the Common Good, we firmly believe that business, society and the environment can only work together. That is why we want to set a good example and show that values are not just written in our mission statement, but are lived.
Become Part of the Project
Our container is designed to inspire, start conversations - and of course bring a bit of color into everyday life. You can find it at Robert-Gernhardt-Platz at Stockleffmühle. Anyone who comes by is welcome to become part of the project: Take a picture of yourself in front of the container, share your picture with the hashtag #MenschImZentrumBlackbit and tag us. Let's show together how color brings diversity to our world.
