Our project with DigitalCluster.Hamburg shows what this can look like in practice.
Planning events, inspiring members, providing content - and all with one system? That was precisely the challenge of Digitalcluster.Hamburg. The status quo: a growing network, many high-quality offers - but a platform that has not grown with it.
Instead of constantly coming up with new workarounds, the association decided to take a bold step: a complete relaunch, in which not only the technology but also the strategy behind it was rethought.
The aim was to attract and retain members and reduce the workload of the editorial team.
What Was the Problem?
An outdated system, too many individual extensions, high maintenance costs - and a user experience that no longer matched the requirements. At the same time, the platform needed to be able to do much more than just offer event tickets.
Our Solution: A Platform That Strengthens Club Loyalty and Relieves the Organization
Together with Hamburg@work, we developed a platform based on Pimcore that:
- Targets content according to membership levels & interests,
- provides all relevant information on events and booking status, tailored to the context and user,
- makes tickets for exclusive events bookable in a smart and segment-based way,
- paves the way from guest to member through clear user guidance,
- bundles member data and communication centrally and
- automates all admin tasks instead of placing an additional burden on the editorial team.
Whether platinum member, sponsor or guest - everyone experiences the platform differently: personalized content, dynamic booking, exclusive media library. And the editorial team controls everything via an intuitive backend.

For all clubs and networks that want to offer their members more - without getting lost in tools and processes. Our platform has a flexible structure and can also be transferred to other organizations. We have created a membership platform that can be easily adapted to organizations with similar requirements
