Shaping the Future Together!
The E-Commerce Berlin Expo 2025, which took place on February 19 and 20 at STATION Berlin, broke all previous records with over 12,000 participants. Almost 300 exhibitors and over 150 speakers offered comprehensive insights into current trends and innovations in the e-commerce industry. Compared to other trade fairs, the E-Commerce Berlin Expo is less of a party, but much more focused. The concept seems to be based on the "Webwinkel Vakdagen" in Utrecht, where mainly trade visitors come to find out about all aspects of digital commerce. The spectrum of exhibitors ranged from packaging manufacturers to payment providers. Naturally, we were there and did not miss the opportunity to present our technologies and services and set the tone in exciting discussions.
The Digital Commerce Performance Roadmap
This year, the discussions and presentations at the E-Commerce Berlin Expo 2025 revolved around groundbreaking technological trends: the spotlight was on artificial intelligence, automation and new payment methods that are set to shape the future of online commerce. Blackbit Digital Commerce used this stage to present the Digital Commerce Performance Roadmap alongside our technical solutions, such as Kubernetes-based hosting.
The Digital Commerce Performance Roadmap is a KPI-verifiable approach to systematically develop digital commerce platforms and continuously increase their business value. The response from the customer meetings proved that we are on the right track: Our solutions not only help companies to make their e-commerce platforms more efficient, our holistic approach makes Blackbit a reliable partner for the technical and business challenges of digital commerce.
Sustainability and User-Centered Digital Approaches
Sustainability, data protection and the optimization of logistics processes took center stage. Blackbit showed itself as a pioneer by driving solutions with a strong focus on sustainability and user-centric digital approaches. A low carbon footprint and the accessibility of websites are just highlights in terms of user-centricity and sustainability compared to the unfortunately still widespread practice of relaunching online stores. Instead of stagnation and relaunches, Blackbit's Digital Commerce Performance Roadmap focuses on continuous development and performance enhancement, thus ensuring sustainability and protection of the investments made.
Next Level
Blackbit was right at home at the E-Commerce Expo, where companies presented the latest products and services: We used the event to impress with digital solutions and services that stand out for their adaptability and performance and proved that we are the ideal partners for companies that want to take their e-commerce platforms to the next level.
Networking and Community
The E-Commerce Berlin Expo 2025 provided a first-class stage for exchange between the industry's leading minds. We enjoyed the diverse networking opportunities and interesting discussions in the special trade fair atmosphere, which not only provided us with welcome inspiration - we were also able to make valuable contacts and initiate strategic partnerships.

Our Highlight: The Digital Commerce DinnerTalk
During the trade fair, between the two days of the event, Blackbit organized the second Digital Commerce DinnerTalk of the year 2025. Selected customers and interested parties were invited to a private dinner and networking event at Fotografiska Berlin. After a reception at Bar Veronica, the participants visited the exhibition together and had the opportunity to engage in conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. This made it easy to find a seatmate for the exquisite dinner that followed, which was masterfully served by the Fotografiska staff. Philipp Krueger from Pimcore and Franz Riedel from Mailchimp inspired us with short, captivating presentations, which were further deepened in the numerous table discussions and during the subsequent visit to the rooftop terrace bar.
Our Conclusion
Blackbit Digital Commerce once again demonstrated how its innovative e-commerce solutions not only support companies with current challenges, but also make them future-proof. The exchange with other exhibitors and potential customers also provided us with valuable insights and suggestions that enable us to tailor our solutions to market needs - because the future starts now!
